The whole experience was lovely, nothing to complain about, recommend. Extremely convenient and reasonably priced place to stay in San Gimignano, everything was very good. - the location was nice and perfect, not very far from Historic Centre of San Gimignano. - the area was nice enough, right by great restaurants, a local bus stop, and a peaceful garden.

we had a panoramic twin room with view to the valley. the hotel was in a wonderful location really close to the centre of san gimignano. it also was on a hilltop outside of town.
The staff we met were not very friendly.

The hotel was adjacent to Certaldo train station. Location met what we needed. Dine at La Cappuccina, which is located within 600 feet from the venue. Would definitely recommend for everyone.

Very nice hotel, beautiful surroundings, just a 20 min. walk from the center of San Gimignano. The staff is friendly, the rooms are very clean and nicely furnished. The view from the garden with swimmingpool is amazing. The only downside is that there is a very limited choice at the bar if you want to eat something during the day. But you can always find a supermarket nearby.

The hotel is about a mile outside San Gimignano, and it's easy to go into the town on foot or by bus. From the swimming pool you can look up to the towers of San Gimignano or over the Tuscan countryside--what could be better?

The Hotel is well situated - near enough to San Gimignano to walk to but in a fairly quiet and beautiful setting.
There was a pool which we would have used if there had not been a charge of €3 per towel - as we were not on a beach-type holiday and had restricted luggage due to our Ryanair flights we had not packed towels but thought a charge to use towels was a bit much.

Kind and helpful staff, nice and clean room with the best view on Tuscan landscape we've seen so far. Must be very nice to go here with a family when it's a bit warmer and you can use the pool.
It's not quite a walk away from San Gimignano, you'll want to use transportation.

This was an excellent hotel with helpful and charming staff. The hotel location was excellent for exploring San Gimignano. The room was clean and cute; the breakfasts were very nice. We cannot say enough good things about the hotel and the two sisters who manage it.
Nothing negative at all.

Spent my xmas holidays at a hotel in the hills of Tuscany. Loved the convenient location, just a short walk from the town centre, and the gorgeous views of the countryside from my room. The icing on the cake was the relaxing pool and the well-maintained garden where I spent my afternoons basking in the sun. In the evenings, I enjoyed a pre-dinner drink while admiring the sunset over the hills.
The bathroom was small with a weak shower and the sound of the nearby barking dog was a bit of a nuisance at night. However, the peaceful surroundings made up for the noise.

Very clean family run hotel. Breakfasts were very good, staff very friendly. Distance from San Gimignano is an uphill walk there of about 20 mins and slightly faster on the home trip. Mostly couples there when we stayed. Small infinity pool and plenty of poolside loungers for guests use.Would definitely return.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking and easy to find hotel just 3 minutes drive from San Gimignano (approx 15-20 mins walking depending on whether you're going uphill into town or downhill back to the hotel). Good views of countryside and San Gimignano from the shared balcony and pool area. Hotel was clean and provided a good breakfast.
Stayed in a twin room and both mattresses were poor. They were either heavily worn and needed replacing or were just cheap mattresses which sank a lot in the middle. We found some ants in the bathroom one morning, but they had not been there the night before (the room always appeared well cleaned) and I guess you have to accept the wildlife when in a country location. We didn't have noisy neighbours, but the sound insulation through the walls was not great.
